In case you've been living in a hole in the ground since 2015, a praiseworthy fan cut down the whole Peter Jackson Hobbit megilla into four hours, excising all the non-Tolkien crap. it's the closest thing we'll get to a cinematic version of the book for what will probably be the remainder of my lifetime. As a devout fan who grew up on the book, I absolutely hated the first PJ installment in his Hobbit trilogy. This edit is the only way I would watch it. So give it a go, if you like, and feel free to let me know what you think.
