Kabosu, the dog behind the “doge” internet meme, will be the subject of documentary “underDOGE” from Scout Productions. Scout has teamed with First Gen Studios, Dukes Up and Own the Doge to tell the story of the side-eyed Shiba Inu and its owner, a 62-year-old kindergarten teacher from Japan. OK, but what material could there possibly be for a docu? Stretching it a little, aren't we? Some guy owns a dog. The dog's picture gets online and becomes a meme. Whoops, five minutes is wearing it out already. It's not like fame goes to the dog's head. He doesn't get addicted to doggie biscuits. He doesn't have to maneuver his way through a horde of gold-digging bitches. His owner is a teacher. Still a teacher. Owner quote: "He was a good dog. SMH this meme bit was just crazy." Aaaand, we're out. WTF? That's not a docu, that's a memorial clip for the Oscars.
