I've been a bagel lover since I was a tiny tot. Today I have to wonder what's with the "everything" bagel?
Out here in Southern California, that means you get sunflower seeds. What?! That's not a bagel topping, you might as well suggest mushrooms! It's just weird. Thank goodness they don't include blueberries or some other abomination.
But my big problem is the garlic and onion. It makes the bagel sticky, and messy to eat. Those two ingredients get all over everything, including your fingers and the table (and whatever you toasted in).
It's not such a problem if you eat one in a bagel shop, but how often does that happen? No, between those and all the other seeds and such that fly off onto the surroundings, they're a pain to eat and a pain to clean up afterwards.
