If you loved Fallout 1 & 2 you owe it to yourself to play the ATOM RPG and its sequel. It's an alternate timeline where the US and the USSR traded volleys of ICBMs, and the survivors scrabble for a living in the wastelands. I finished playing through ATOM RPG (111 hours!) and just started the sequel, Trudograd. You can import your character from the first game and tweak him a bit. Overall I really enjoyed ATOM. It was very nostalgic. I had a couple of problems with how the writer decided things would go in some cases. And there are the typical issues you get sometimes. For example, if someone cheats you and you gun them down (quite in-character for the post-apocalyptic wasteland) the entire town goes aggro on you. Whether there were (surviving) witnesses or not. But overall a great gaming experience, especially at the price. Run right out and get it. (Don't panic, the version you buy will be in English. The game was originally developed in Russian.)
