April 24th: WOTC cannot get their PR shit in order. They sent the Pinkertons to raid a guy's house! Pinkertons, you know, chasing after famous criminals. Polygon leads with a story that WOTC sent the Pinkertons to raid a guy’s house for Magic cards he bought legitimately. The guy was a Youtuber who did reviews, and the guards scared his wife so much she was crying. They confiscated everything. When the guy got in touch directly with WOTC they offered him some yet-to-be-determined partial compensation for what he paid. Apparently the Pinkertons' next step will be to find where in the WOTC distribution chain the "unreleased" cards were sold.
