I was very disappointed to read today that EA isn't interested in McGee's proposed Alice 3, and won't license the IP either. So after McGee gathered a team and worked on a proposal, he's been turned down flat. Apparently that's hit him pretty hard (no wonder), and he's announced that not only is he no longer interested in having anything to do with any future Alice projects -- he's leaving the game industry altogether.
That's a loss to the industry, and to the fans. I can't fault him though, I'd be upset too.
