I'm as much a Trekkie as anyone, but OMG this movie is terrible. 
I guess Snoop Dog must be a Trekkie, otherwise I don't know what he's doing here.
Kirk is played by a marionette. We get Nichelle Nichols and Walter Koenig from TOS, a few regulars from other Trek series, and a lot of guest actors from this and that episode.
They liken their script to Airplane! and Space Balls. I think this one falls a distant third.
Just kinda embarrassing...
