So I was having an online discussion about lunchboxes. Someone posted the following link:
The Last Metal Lunchbox
Apparently the Rambo lunchbox released by Thermos in 1985 was the last metal lunchbox evah! According to this site, due to "safety and economic concerns." GAAAH!
As we went back and forth with our posts, I started searching the net for a picture of somebody getting hit with a lunchbox. Anything to make the joke that I could hit you with a metal lunchbox. Know what?
I spent a good 45 minutes and I COULDN'T FIND ONE! I challenged my friends and thought somebody would post such a picture in reply. No dice.
When you try searching with any permutation of "lunchbox" all you get are healthy lunches, creative lunches, happy kids eating lunch, and lots of lunchboxes that you can buy. It's all so politically-correct that I can't stand it.
We can't depict someone using a lunchbox as a weapon so as not to inspire a kid to smack his neighbor? Really? I think that if a kid wants to hit another kid he'll use either his fist or the first found object that comes to hand. Regardless of whether he's ever seen a picture of lunchbox used as a blunt object.
Are you outraged? I am! Prove me wrong. Without photo-shopping it, find such a picture and post it here!
